31107 Edgewater Dr- Edgewater Estates
This architecturally fun 1977 Mansard home features a flat roof that has made it perfect for decorating! The large lot has plenty of space for other lights and displays. Edgewater Estates is close to the Minos Comaway house and usually has a good amount of decorated homes with lots of Christmas spirit.
31141 Minos Conaway Road
This home on Minos Conaway Road can probably be seen from space and is becoming a local Christmas tradition! The homeowners do all these lights themselves and add to their display every year! It was a clear winner for the 2021 Clark Griswold of Lewes Award
15036 Frances Ann St- Lewes Crossing
This home in Lewes Crossing offers a mostly traditional Christmas display of lights. Both the home and yard have a variety of lights and decorations. The front window is adorned with an indescribably beautiful lamp. It’s a Major Award imported from Italy. It’s fragile’!
Lewes Crossing has many other beautifully decorated homes. The community is worth the short drive from town.
19071 Charleston Way- Coastal Club
This homeowner loves decorating for the holidays as it puts everyone in the spirit of Christmas. They love to see people smiling as they walk by and wanted to share their decorating here on our WOW page. They have added a Grinch theme for this year.
19124 Chartres St- 4 Seasons at Belle Terre "Winter Wonderland"
This is the Christmas home from Henlopen Landing, but in a new location. The display consists of over 50,000 LED lights synchronized to music, that can be listened to when viewing by tuning to 90.1 FM. The home is nationally registered and was invited to be on “The Great Christmas Light Fight”. Special features are a 22-foot-tall pixel tree, matrix panel, singing faces, a nativity scene and many other items, including a menorah.
3 Ashford Dr - Estates at Bridle Ridge
This beautifully decorated home has a subtle gingerbread vibe. A little girl in the neighborhood called her house “The Cookie House”, so the homeowner uses that for inspiration and does all the lights and decor herself.
33015 Pitch Pine CT- Chase Oaks
This homeowner is new to the WOW page and is enthusiastic about recruiting neighbors to put up lights in Chase Oak. The lights can be seen from Robinsonville Road.
They enjoy displaying lots of bright colored lights and have an animated elf playing Christmas tunes.
20522 Annondell Dr- Hart's Landing
This homeowner is an avid collector of vintage and newer blowmolds. He has over 50 on display accompanied by other lights, Don't miss Santa and 9 reindeer on the roof. Been doing this over 20 years between CT and DE!
There are other nicely decorated homes in this development worth seeing too.
Special Lewes Homes South of RT 24
32993 Angola Road
this is a great house in this neighborhood of decorated homes near the intersection of Camp Arrowhead and Angola Roads.
The house is covered with blinking blue and clear lights. Santa and his reindeer are in the front yard and there are characters to look at throughout the display.
(32993 is the first of 3 homes in this area. Second is 26194 Keilbasa Court and third going South on Angola is 33229. These houses are great to see together and all within a mile of each other)
26194 Keilbasa Court- Hailey's Glen
This is a warm traditional, very Christmasy feeling display with an animated Christmas deer that plays Christmas music, an animated Santa on the porch, other illuminated critters, and warm twinkle lights in all the trees. Hailey's Glen is the second stop in this mini tour. This home even has its own Facebook page, so give it a like: The Magical Christmas Display
33229 Angola Road
This home can be seen from the sky, as shone in this drone pic! This large home is very well-lit and has ground displays all around. This home was submitted for the homeowner, with permission, by a neighborhood fan of his light display. It's worth the drive out 24! This is the last of the amazing houses close together in this neighborhood, collectively making a mini tour! Enjoy!
Clark Griswolds of Lewes, We Need You! Submit Your WOW Homes!
Everyone wants to know where the over the top, wonderfully lit, and best decorated Christmas homes and neighborhoods are! We wish we had the resources to make a map for all of Lewes, but the 19958 zip code is just too large to map and orchestrate. We are just a few volunteers who do this to spread Christmas joy, with our own time and funds.

However, we are listening to you and decided to make a special page for our hardcore Christmas light fanatics who aren't in the City of Lewes or are west of Route One. We created this "WOW" page in 2023 to feature listings throughout Greater Lewes to feature your special homes or neighborhoods and share them with the public! Homes submitted for listing on this page should be heavily lit, feature decorations or displays on the lawn, and truly be worth driving out of the way for! Basically, they need to be Clark Griswold level homes for listing here. So, bring on the lights! Send us your special spots of Christmas joy!
